Share Credit (CreditMe/CreditU)

Option 1: USSD / Shortcode

1. Dial *127#.
2. Select the option number for “Please Share Credit to my number”.
3. Enter the B-Party’s Vodafone Mobile Number.
4. Enter the credit amount you are requesting for.
5. A USSD Prompt will be displayed to confirm that the Request for credit has been sent.

1. Applicable to Vodafone customers only.
2. A customer will be eligible for 100 Free Request SMS messages per month
3. Standard SMS charges may apply outside quota usage.
4. Dial *444# or use the MyVodafone App to access Vodafone Prepaid Services.

Option 1: USSD Shortcode

1. Dial *128#.
2. Enter the B-Party’s Prepaid Vodafone mobile number.
3. Enter the amount of Real Credit you wish to transfer.
4. Enter your credit transfer PIN (default PIN is 1111).
5. Verify the B-Party number and Real Credit amount, and Enter 1 to Select Yes to complete the credit transfer process.
6. An SMS message will be sent to confirm that the credit transfer has been successfully done. You may dial *120# to check your balance.

Option 2 MyVodafone App

1. Download the MyVodafone App from Google Play Store, iPhone App Store or Huawei App Gallery in your smartphone.
2. Log in by registering your mobile number in the MyVodafone App. (Note: The OTP Verification Code message will be sent to your SMS inbox.)
3. Tap on “Transfer Credit”. The active mobile account will be displayed.
4. Under “Transfer Credit To”, Enter/Select the B-Party’s Prepaid Vodafone mobile number.
5. Enter the amount of real credit you wish to transfer.
6. Enter your credit transfer PIN (default PIN is 1111).
7. Verify the B-Party number and amount, then tap on “Transfer credit” to complete the transfer process.
8. An SMS message will be sent to confirm that the credit transfer has been successful. Go to the home () page or dial *120# to check the balance.

2. The amount must be a whole value.
3. Real Credit can be shared with Prepaid mobile customers only.
4. Maximum of 5 transfers per number per day. 
5. Maximum transfer amount is K100 per transaction.
6. Dial *444# or use the MyVodafone App to access Vodafone Prepaid Services.
