How to Topup my Prepaid Mobile Broadband Device?

You can TopUp your Prepaid Mobile Broadband number using the same process as topping up your mobile phone.

The different channels are listed below:

  1. TopUp Card/Voucher
  2. Direct TopUp
  3. MyVodafone App
  4. Dial *121# using a normal Prepay Vodafone mobile phone
  5. Online Web TopUp

 

A. TopUp Card/Voucher

  1. Go to any retailer that offers hard card or electronic voucher TopUp services and purchase any of the TopUp denominations of K10, K15, K20, K35, K50, K100. (TopUp denominations of K100 and above is available via Direct TopUp and Online Web TopUp only.  Click here to find your nearest Direct TopUp Agent. Click here to TopUp Online now. 
  2. Scratch the security coating and expose the TopUp Voucher Number 
  3. Connect to your broadband device’s Wi-Fi network.
  4. Login to the Wi-Fi portal from the Wi-Fi device management app or enter the WiFi Portal URL in your browser. The URL may be written on the back or bottom of your broadband device.
  5. Select the SMS section on the Dashboard. 
  6. Create a new SMS message, Enter “121” in the recipient number, Enter the 15-digit TopUp Voucher number in the body, and Select Send. Alternatively, you may also use the MyVodafone App to TopUp your mobile broadband number.
  7. You’re done! A success SMS message will be sent to confirm that the account has been topped up.
  8. To check the total balance, send an SMS to “120”. Use the MyVodafone App for more balance details.

B. Direct TopUp

  1. Go to any retailer who offers Direct TopUp services and purchase any of the TopUp denominations stated above. Click here to find your nearest Direct TopUp Agent.
  2. Provide your broadband data number to the TopUp agent who will then directly TopUp the mobile account from the system. Click here to find your nearest Direct TopUp Agent. <URL>
  3. You’re done! A success SMS message will be sent to confirm that the account has been topped up.
  4. To check the total balance, send a SMS to “120”. Use the MyVodafone App for more balance details.

C. My Vodafone App

  1. Download MyVodafone App from Google Play Store, iPhone App Store or Huawei App Gallery in your smartphone.
  2. Log in by registering your mobile number in the MyVodafone App. (Note: The OTP Verification Code message will be sent to your SMS inbox.)
  3. Tap on the down-arrow next to your number at the top.
  4. Select “Add Another Connection”
  5. Under “Vodafone Number” enter your broadband data number.
  6. Under “Name”, enter a nick name for your broadband data number.
  7. Select “Proceed”.
  8. Enter your email address. (Note: A One-Time-Password verification code will be sent to your email address.)
  9. Tap on “TopUp” beside the account balance or tap on “TopUp” on the left of the home () Button
  10. Select TopUp type.
  11. Select the Broadband number.
  12. If you selected TopUp Card, Enter the 15-digit TopUp Voucher number.
  13. Tap on “TopUp”.
  14. A success SMS message will be sent to confirm that the account has been topped up.
  15. To check balance, tap the home () Button

D. Dial *121# using a normal Prepay Vodafone mobile phone

  1. Purchase a TopUp card or or electronic voucher.
  2. 2. On a mobile phone, dial *121*2*Mobile Broadband data number*15-digit TopUp Voucher number#.
  3. 3. A USSD prompt will appear. Verify the Broadband number and then Enter 1 to Select Yes to complete the TopUp process.
  4. 4. A success SMS message will be sent to confirm that the B-Party account has been topped up.

E. Online Web TopUp

  1. Go to: www.vodafone.com.pg/my-vodafone/web-top-up
  2. Select a “TopUp amount” from the dropdown menu. Web TopUp ranges from K2 to K500.
  3. Enter the mobile number you wish to top up.
  4. Enter your email address.
  5. Review the broadband data mobile number and TopUp amount. Select a payment method.
  6. If you have selected the Credit Card payment option, enter your Credit Card details.
  7. Select the check box to agree with the Terms and Conditions.
  8. Click on “PAY NOW”.
  9. A confirmation E-mail and success SMS will be sent to confirm that the account has been topped up.

How can I check what my Mobile Broadband number is?

Check your original packaging for your SIM Card holder.
